Aaron calls off wedding to John in Emmerdale
During Tuesday’s episode of Emmerdale (May 27), Aaron Dingle was chatting to Victoria about John when they saw him drive past with Aidan’s mum in the passenger seat.
Aaron took off home and started drinking. Victoria managed to convince him to give John the benefit of the doubt, so Aaron decided to head to the hospital for answers.
Once there, he came face-to-face with Cathleen. She apologised to Aaron for interrupting his wedding day and said she’d told John they could do the visit another day but ‘John insisted on coming right over.’
John appeared and gave Cathleen the sad news that Aidan had slipped back into a coma. After she ran off, Aaron demanded answers. John insisted Cathleen had begged him to come, with Aaron responding: “No she didn’t, she told me this was all your idea.”
Aaron accused John of still being in love with Aidan and told him he couldn’t marry him.
As he left the hospital, Aidan followed begging Aaron not to leave him. His pleading was to no avail though and Aaron drove off.

Aaron remains unreadable, but after much tension the pair finally arrive at the venue to the guests’ relief.
