Katy Perry is reportedly seeking advice from Taylor Swift as she grapples with sluggish ticket sales for her forthcoming Lifetimes tour. According to a source who spoke to The U.S. Sun, Perry was inspired by the enormous success of Swift’s Eras Tour and reached out for guidance.
Despite announcing 83 dates for her tour, thousands of seats are still up for grabs. The two pop sensations have had a tumultuous past, marked by a feud that lasted several years and even inspired Swift’s 2014 chart-topper, Bad Blood.
However, they’ve since buried the hatchet, and Perry is now looking to Swift for tips on how to make her shows more thrilling. Perry, known for her hit Hot N Cold, has also been criticized for continuing to collaborate with producer Dr. Luke on her album 143, despite previous allegations against him by singer Kesha.
A source revealed that Perry is “frustrated” with the lackluster buzz surrounding her tour and is consulting Swift on everything from costume design to lighting effects.
“She attended one of Taylor’s concerts last year and left feeling both excited and inspired,” the insider shared.
“She knows she can rely on Taylor for constructive feedback.”

Another source described Perry as a “sponge,” absorbing all the advice Swift has to offer. The two stars have allegedly had extensive conversations about the minute details that make a concert memorable.
Swift has stressed the significance of storytelling and stage presence, the source added. “Taylor wants Katy to succeed and have a fantastic tour. Katy appreciates that.”
Their renewed friendship follows years of strain.
The feud ignited in 2014 when Swift accused Perry of attempting to “sabotage an entire arena tour” by poaching backup dancers.
Both artists released diss tracks, with Swift’s Bad Blood in 2014 and Perry’s Swish Swish in 2017. The feud finally cooled down in 2018 when Perry sent Swift an actual olive branch along with a handwritten note.
In 2019, Perry spoke about their past issues on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, describing the feud as “really unfortunate.”
