And Just Like That star Armin Amiri has claimed he once ‘smoked a joint’ with former First Daughter Jenna Bush Hager.
The Iranian American actor, who stars alongside Sarah Jessica Parker in the Sex and the City reboot, made the admission about mother-of-three Jenna during a recent interview with Page Six Radio hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy.
Reflecting on his years immersed in New York City’s nightlife scene during the 2000s, Armin shared that he was working as a doorman at Manhattan’s Bungalow 8, a now-closed hotspot frequented by celebrities, when he encountered Jenna and her twin sister Barbara.
“So we had 280 reservations for the restaurant,” he recalled. “Four people showed. Two of them were Bush’s daughters. The first time I didn’t let ’em in and I didn’t know who they were.” The actor went on to claim that they even “smoked a joint together”.

“I remember I needed my green card. So, we smoked a joint together and I was just like, ‘Listen, I’m having a green card problem’,” he said.
Armiri recalled one of the sisters saying that they would “speak to someone” regarding his status, but went on to confirm that “nothing ever happened”.
Born in Tehran, Iran, Amiri first moved to Istanbul, then applied for political asylum in Vienna. Four years later, he made it to the United States, where he started studying and chasing his dream of becoming an actor, according to IMDb.
Since then, he’s landed a major role on HBO’s And Just Like That, where he plays Ravi – a film director who also happens to be the love interest of Seema, played by Sarita Choudhury.

Meanwhile, Jenna and her sister Barbara seemed to have come a long way too. The mom-of-three previously reflected on her regrets when younger. While appearing on the TODAY show, she expressed that she was “too nervous” to pursue one of her interests at her “big public high school.”
“It was so huge that it wasn’t like, ‘Oh, there’s one cool kid.’ But the one thing that I always tell my kids — which I’m sure they’re just starting to plug their ears — is that the one regret I have is that I didn’t act,” she told her former cohost Hoda Kotb.
“I was too nervous to do things like that,” Bush Hager added. “To go on stage.”
The TV host is married to Henry Chase Hager, whom she wed in May 2008. Together, they have three children: daughters Mila, Poppy, and son Hal.
