Those who have seen the episode already will know that Steph exits the soap during Thursday’s hour-long episode. Cut up over Ross’ lies about there being no one else, she decides she needs to get away.
She upsets her parents Ruby and Caleb Miligan with the news she plans to flee abroad and go traveling for months, with her telling them she has yet to decide when she will be back. Scenes show her packing up her things and getting a taxi out of the village.
Of course Ross tries to stop her going but she’s adamant she needs to leave, and does so. As Ruby and Caleb say their goodbyes and wave her off, Ross is heartbroken as he watches Steph head away.
