Adam Henson, 59, Countryfile Presenter, causes “Big Tr0uble” at the Padda family farm in the Vale of Evesham, leaving son Bal speechless – Farm secret revealed that sh0cks viewers!
Countryfile’s Adam Henson received a lighthearted telling off from a local farmer during Sunday night’s episode.
Adam, 59, paid a visit to the Paddas’ family-run farm in the Vale of Evesham, where he spent time with the three generations who are nurturing its success.
Caught up in Wimbledon fever, Adam kicked off the show by trying his hand at selecting the best strawberries.
“I’ve done four and already my fingers are hurting,” he declared.
However, struggling to match the speed of other pickers, one playful farmer advised him: “Try to do both hands,” reports Gloucestershire Live.

Caught off guard, Adam responded, “Oh both hands, you didn’t tell me that!” to Bal, who had been guiding him through the farm activities.
With a chuckle, Adam retorted, “Twice as fast!” while Bal teased him, saying: “Adam, you’re costing us money here!”
The Paddas have set their sights on harvesting 2,000 tonnes of strawberries annually, ready to be distributed to retailers and wholesalers.
Adam also discovered the team dedicated to crafting jam from the farm’s own fresh produce and discussed the rotational work schedule at Bal’s farm, which attracted employees from abroad for half-year stints.

Beyond the bustling activities, Adam was introduced to Makhan, the founder of the Worcestershire farm, along with his wife Palvinder, who have over the years welcomed numerous relatives into their farming endeavours.
Starting out modestly, Makhan shared with Adam poignant memories from 1966, when both he and his wife pioneered their agricultural venture.
“We were both working in the field, we were picking sprouts together, gooseberry, cutting rhubarb,” Makhan reminisced.
The presenter observed a tangible sense of solidarity, remarking: “There’s a real sense of community here, of a wider family, grounded in farming and in faith.”

With the reins passed to Makhan’s son Bal and his siblings, presenter Adam was taken aback to learn that there was no thought of retirement for the clan elder.
Pondering whether it was time for a change, Adam asked, “Is it time for him to take a step back and retire?” Bal replied with a chuckle, “No! The Queen never retired, did she?”
Bal elaborated on his father’s dedication, saying: “For him to leave, I can’t see him ever doing it personally. Our culture is all about the beauty of farming, once you’re a farming, you are that, that’s what you are, because it’s in your blood.”
