Aiden, son of This Morning host Alison Hammond joining Love Island? Alison’s fiery reaction sparks viewer debate!
ITV2 dating show Love Island kicked off it’s 12th series this week, and fans could have seen a very familiar face in the line-up. Alison Hammond revealed that her son Aiden auditioned for the show, with bosses keen to get him on.
However, Alison, 50, who began her career on reality TV show Big Brother, told the Loose Women earlier today why she didn’t want him to take part. The This Morning star’s confirmation of her son auditioning for the show comes after months of rumours he was set to enter the villa.
Those hoping to see Aiden walk in as a bombshell are set to be disappointed however, as Alison warned her son he was “too young.”

After making a dash to the Loose Women studio after presenting Friday’s This Morning, Alison told the panel her son was “absolutely not” doing Love Island.
“He has auditioned for the show, and they wanted him for that show. I advised him to do it later on.”
Revealing exactly what she said to her son, she said: “‘If you really need to do it Aiden, do it when you’re a little bit older,’ because he was only 19 at that time.
“I just think it’s too young – I just think he can do it when he’s a little bit older.”
