Bret Baier, the 54-year-old Fox News star, is leveraging his newly launched TikTok account to seek advice from his followers on how to lose weight.
While taking a stroll by the Tumac River in Washington on a sunny day, Bret shared, “So I had an hour for lunch, so I chose to come out to the Tumac River here in Washington. Pretty hot day, to go run for 30 minutes and walk for 30 minutes trying to shed some Lbs.”
He then posed a question to his fans, “What do you think? Should I have done that? It can take me another 30 minutes, probably, to cool down enough to get back into a suit. Or just go to the gym for 45 minutes and pump iron?”
“I’m trying to do that a couple of times a week. I know it’s 80/20 what you eat and drink, put your body. But what I’m saying, for this hour, what would have been the best use of that time for trying to shed all these lbs, hit me in the comments,” he continued.
Wrapping up his appeal to fans, he joked, “Please don’t say just take the shot,” likely referring to Ozempic, and added, “I’ll see you in a suit.”

In the caption of his post, he reiterated his query, “What would be the best use of my one-hour lunch break? A 1 hour run/walk or 45 minutes lifting weights? Let me know in the comments!” followed by a muscle arm emoji.
Bret also shared his message with his 627,000 Instagram followers.
It didn’t take long for fans to share their advice with the Special Report anchor. One user advised, “The run is the way 100%. if you want to really get in shape and feel amazing join a water polo club.”
Another fan joined in with the suggestions, penning, “Which do you enjoy? That’s the one to choose.”
“For these super hot days (I’m in central Va not far from you) I’m doing indoor cardio and core work along with several days of resistance training with dumbbells and weight machines,” a third fan commented.
They continued, “Seems you made good use of your time my friend! For core strength and vitality I recommend the Five Tibetan Rites, only takes 10-15 minutes and is awesome for promoting energy and core strength, really helped me at my mature stage (you’re still a young man Bret!)”
While a fourth person suggested, “Both..alternating days!” while a fifth praised Bret on his motivation, “Keep up your exercise program. Thank you for the motivation.
“Ain’t no way I could be on TV a little bit after this lol! keep it up! !” echoed a sixth fan in the comments.
