The Chase host Bradley Walsh has revealed plans to retire from showbiz following 40 years in the public eye.
Bradley, 61, has hosted the hit telly game show for twelve years and has suggested that within two years time he will be retired.
As a comedian, actor, and presenter Bradley has been on screen in everything from Coronation Street to Doctor Who as well las numerous other game shows including Wheel of Fortune and Odd One In.
He also released two albums, Chasing Dreams (2016) and When You’re Smiling (2017), which both reached the top 15 in the UK Albums Chart.
He’s’ also just made a new BBC One show alongside This Morning’s Holly Willoughby called Take Off with Bradley & Holly for July 24.

In an acting capacity , Bradley will also star in the new version of The Larkins’ Darling Buds Of May.

Bradley revealed his retirement saying: ‘”You know what, in a couple of years time I won’t have to do any of it, I’ll be retired and that’ll be it.”
He also told The Sun: “It seems like I’m on your screen all the time only because I cram everything in a certain area of the year.
“We make 210 Chases, 16 Celebrity Chases, 16 Beat The Chasers. It’s only actually 86 days recording.

“So out of 365 days, you’d imagine I have loads of time off. But once you’ve got your bedrock of shows set in, that allows you then to go off and do other things.”
He added: “I don’t actually have time off, I have meetings, I have personal appearances I have to make and stuff like that with other things I’ve got going on, so it’s quite tricky to juggle it about.”

Bradley, talked about his first meeting with Shaun Wallace, the Dark Destroyer, and The Beast aka Mark Labbett.

He said: “We did the run through in front of a couple of the executives, and at the other end of the table was Shaun Wallace, the Dark Destroyer, and the Beast.
