Fox News host Laura Ingraham has come under fire for what’s been called a ‘warped’ apology following a blunder involving Letitia James and Fani Willis.
Ingraham, a mainstay at Fox News since 2007 and with her own show from 2017, had to say sorry on air after mixing up photos.
The network faced embarrassment – not for the first time in recent months – for showing the wrong person on screen, which some have deemed racist.
While discussing charges against Tr::ump in Georgia, Ingraham began speaking about Willis, Fulton County’s District Attorney, but showed a picture of James, New York’s Attorney General, which initially went unnoticed.

Shortly after, Ingraham issued an apology for the error, but was criticised for its tone. “Earlier we accidentally showed a graphic that had a photo of another vicious anti-Tr::ump figure, Letitia James when we were talking about Fani Willis,” she admitted to viewers.
“That was our mistake. They both hate Tr::ump.”
Critics lambasted Ingraham for seemingly not taking the apology seriously, given her comments about both women. One viewer wrote on Twitter: “As soon as I saw the Fani Willis/Leticia James mistake, I knew immediately that Laura Ingraham and her producers were gonna do this as a backhanded way to admit they made a mistake.”
Another chimed in, saying: “I’m going out on a limb but I don’t think you got mixed up because they both prosecuted Tr::ump.”
