Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, Channel 4’s gruelling reality show, is notorious for causing injuries to its famous participants, often leading to their withdrawal from the competition.
However, a new precedent may have been set with a celebrity being forced to exit the show even before filming commenced.
Soap legend Patsy Kensit was slated to participate in the forthcoming season of the show.
Regrettably, it seems her pre-show training resulted in an in!ury that rendered her unable to compete.
Patsy, 57, renowned for her roles as Sadie King in Emmerdale and Emma Harding in EastEnders, had been rigorously hitting the gym to prepare herself for the challenges she would encounter on the show.

The premise of Who Dares Wins involves contestants undergoing physical and psychological trials akin to those experienced by the armed forces, testing their resilience and determination.
However, it has now emerged that Patsy was dismissed when she arrived for the new series’ filming due to her pre-filming in!ury.
An insider revealed that the show’s producers instructed the actress to return home to prevent any further harm.
A source revealed to The Sun on Sunday: “Patsy had been running at pace on a treadmill while wearing a weighted backpack filled with books and weights as part of her intense training regime.

“The added weight caused her to lose balance and fall backwards off the machine, bruising her arm and shoulder in the process,” reports the Mirror.
The insider continued: “She even flew out to Morocco, where the filming was taking place, but production soon spotted the in!ury and she was sent home.”
Patsy’s spokesperson stated: “The production company Minow who make Celebrity SAS Who Dares Wins, were amazing the way they looked after Patsy. Their duty of care was second to none and very impressive. Patsy is on the mend and will of course make a full recovery.”
Earlier in the month, Patsy was seen sporting an arm sling at a gala performance of the Faulty Towers theatre show in London’s West End.

When questioned about her in!ury then, the celebrity disclosed: “I br0ke my sh0ulder in 3 places 3 weeks ago! ! ! I’m healing and a slight boogie with my besties I’m staying with this week will be a tonic for sure.”
Despite her in!ury, the star has been spotted enjoying social outings, but she has expressly stated that she will not be attending the Oasis reunion tour dates.
Patsy was wedded to singer Liam Gallagher, 52, from 1997 until 2000 and they have a 25 year old son together, Lennon Gallagher.

Recently on Good Morning Britain, Patsy expressed her delight at seeing her former husband back on tour with Oasis, giving their son the opportunity to see his father perform with the legendary band – which famously disbanded in 2009.
She shared with the ITV programme: “My 24-year-old son, he’ll be there and he’ll have a lovely time.
“Great for him to see all of that and I’m happy for his dad, I think it’s a wonderful thing. But I won’t be attending.”
