HODA Kotb has been absent from Today once more without offering an explanation for her whereabouts.

During the most recent episode of the Today Show, Hoda was nowhere to be found.

There had been no indication why or when Hoda would be out, but she appeared to have taken the day off.

Her absence came after she just posted a “goodnight” message to Instagram featuring one of her daughters looking out of a window.

Before that, Hoda shared quotes to her Instagram about finding virtue in rest.

It seems she might have taken some time away from her post at the news desk.

Hoda could be back on the morning show the following day.

No one acknowledged why she was out for the broadcast.

HODA’S PAIN

Hoda recently shared a cryptic message about ‘healing’ to her Instagram account after opening up about her breast cancer battle.

Hoda took to Instagram to share a quote that seemingly referenced her battle with the disease in the past, and her thoughts on it.

But the Today host didn’t share a simple photo of herself or anything like that.

Instead, she posted a quote and a simple heart emoji to accompany it.

The quote read: “The healer also needs healing. The planner also needs surprises. The giver also needs to receive. The thoughtful also needs to be thought of. The considerate also need to be considered.”

Hoda had gone through a divorce and underwent a mastectomy at the same time, as she explained previously.

She recalled being ‘barely functioning’ at the time.

HODA’S HELL

Recently, Hoda recalled a time when she was barely functioning during one of her lowest moments in a live segment.

The TV star opened up about when she was going through a divorce with ex-husband Burzis Kanga while also battling breast cancer.

Hoda and her co-host Jenna Bush Hager held a segment called Own Your Health, during which they chatted with Maria Shriver.

It was then that Hoda recalled the difficulty she had dealing with both devastating events at the same time.

The anchor underwent a double mastectomy in 2007- her cancer is currently in remission.

However, she divorced husband Burzis in 2008.

Hoda shared: “I went through a divorce and breast cancer simultaneously, and I remembered in that time barely functioning, and I was thinking to myself like, ‘Is this it? Is this how it goes?'”

She added: “I was thinking about some of my lowest moments during that time what was contributing to all of it was I was in horrible health, and I didn’t care about that piece of it, and you don’t realize how bad it gets and then you’re compounding it, your health gets worse, because you’re not well, and it went on and on.”

Hoda talked about how difficult it was to deal with everything going on all at once.

“You realize when you’re on solid ground again, and you look back, and you’re like, ‘Oh my gosh I didn’t take an hour for myself,’ there were all the things I never ever did that I am doing today that make such a difference,” she concluded.

All this comes after Hoda went missing from Today on Monday as she spends time with family away from work.

The broadcast journalist has been enjoying quality time with her two children, Haley Joy, and Hope Catherine.

The TV personality was replaced by familiar face Sheinelle Jones who joined Savannah Guthrie and Craig Melvin.

The anchors made no mention of their co-host’s absence, though she hinted at the reason behind her disappearance on Instagram Sunday.

Hoda took to the platform to share snaps with her family as they celebrated her sister Hala’s birthday.

In the first photo of the post, the author’s entire brood was spread out in a living room, with multiple children lying across the floor and coloring.

All the little ones created birthday cards for the star’s sister Hala, as they gathered together for the special occasion.

The third picture showed Hoda standing with the birthday girl and other family, as they held up matching shirts with her name on the photo on the front.

She also added snaps of her kids hugging their grandmother and cousins, as well as simple pics showing off their sweet smiles.

Hoda filmed the colorful decorations at the party and posed for a large group photo with her entire family.

She captioned the post: “Early bday surprise for my sis!!! Happy birthday haya!”
