TODAY Show host Hoda Kotb has shared a new update about her Season 4 podcast, Making Space.

Hoda, 59, announced the return of Making Space earlier this month on the Today show, and now the star has revealed a guest.

The Today host took to Instagram to introduce her first guest of the new season, Maria Menounos.

Hoda shared a headshot of Maria with her quote which read: “I always try to help people understand, to not be committed to their disease, to not be committed to the diagnosis, to be committed to possibility.”

In the carousel of images, a photo of Maria smiling on the podcast came next, followed by a graphic spread advertising the new episode urging fans to “listen now.”

“I’m so excited to share the new season of my podcast Making Space with you all,” Hoda captioned the post.

“This season I’m making space to talk to people whose life lessons and teachings are inspiring me right now.”

She continued: “And if you think you know my first two guests… think again.

“The first two episodes with the incredibly Rainn Wilson and Maria Menounos are available now wherever you get our podcasts.”

Hoda concluded: “Search ‘Making Space’ or click the link in my bio to listen.”

Fans gushed over the new podcast drop.

One of Hoda’s followers gushed: “So inspiring and a reminder to listen to our internal voice.”

Another stated: “The podcast was amazing.”

Yet a third enthusiastic fan shared: “Listened to the episode and it was inspiring.”

‘ENAMORED’

Earlier this month, Hoda announced the return of Making Space on Today with a trailer.

Introduced by Carson Daly, Hoda was shown chatting with a number of new guests in the teaser clip.

“I love Making Space for real, raw conversations,” Hoda said and explained, “I’ve just been enamored by these people.”

She gushed over Rainn Wilson as a “spiritual” person on a journey of his own.

Hoda also mentioned how people think they “know” Maria Menounos, but they have no idea.

The podcast is free to enjoy wherever podcasts are available, and there are more episodes to come in the future.

TODAY’S TOUGH

Last week Friday, Hoda and Jenna were discussing their childhood kitchens with their guest host Michelle Norris.

Hoda spoke fondly of her late father who passed away when she was in college.

She said: “Our kitchen, I remember, the table very clearly and my dad’s position at the table. He sat at the head of the table and every night at the end he would have an apple and blueberries.”

The US daytime TV host began to cry: “This is weird, but I remember not knowing how to sit at the table without him because we all had our place.”

After Hoda finished up her story, Jenna laughed: “Oh my God. What just happened?”

“We need some Kleenex,” Michelle shouted.

Jenna also brought up that Hoda takes after her father as she has an apple every day.

Then, Jenna said while waving her cards near her face: “You’ve hit something so beautiful and meaningful that you asked us one question and we’re weeping.”
