“This week felt like survival mode. On the anniversary, I fell apart. I cried all day,” she shared.

She blames the governor for **thousands of seniors’ d3aths**, profiting from a **$4 million memoir**, getting an Emmy while families couldn’t hold funerals.

“The storm was beating me down and finally winning,” she confessed. But after crying, she prayed for strength:
“Because our storm is not over. I’m not the same person who walked into it last year. But I will keep adjusting my sails and carry on.”

In the end, Janice realized: “Perhaps the storm has lasted this long because the storm was inside me.”
