Pat and Jennifer, 52, appeared on Today to make her friend’s blueberry cobbler.
When host Carson Daly led the segment, he asked what the first thing to do is.
Pat sarcastically responded with, “We buy the blackberries at the grocery store,” which had everyone laughing.
While making the recipe with Jennifer, Pat said that she quit putting lemon juice over the blackberries because it “doesn’t make any difference.”
The Today hosts cracked up at her quip as she continued to stir the dry ingredients.
Pat grabbed the bowl away from Carson, 51, who was trying to help because he was stirring it with the spoon, and she just put her hands in the bowl and mixed it.
When they finished, Carson asked how long it goes in the oven for.
“Until it’s done,” Pat quipped, which had everyone laughing on set.
GO TO YOUR ROOM!
Pat then told Jennifer that the egg goes into the vanilla extract.
“No, the butter. Right, mom?” Jennifer asked.

“No, no, no, Jennifer Anne!” Pat jokingly scolded her actress daughter.
She grabbed Jennifer’s hand and squeezed it.
Jennifer looked over to the hosts, who were sitting on the side eating, and laughed.
Al Roker yelled from the side, “Jenn, go to your room!”
