SAD NEWS: Katie Price announces Heartbreaking Loss of a Family Member – ALL Efforts couldn’t bring a miracle!

Katie Price has turned to social media to share her latest heartbreak. This follows just days after the former glamour model, 47, informed her Instagram followers that her pet sphynx cat was expecting kittens.
However, she has now been forced to disclose that whilst her pet cat, Doris, delivered “so many” kittens, one has tragically d13d. The heartbreaking update comes after Katie faced criticism from animal welfare groups for bringing three of the hairless felines into her household in October last year. In her recent Snapchat post, the mother-of-five revealed she skipped a family excursion to the Isle of Wight to care for the newborns. She confessed she was maintaining consistent feeding schedules and utilising electric blankets. Nevertheless, in the update, Katie spoke of the “sad news” she encountered and included four emotional emojis.

She revealed: “An update on the kittens, one unfortunately d13d. That’s the one wrapped in tissue, two hours after we fed it. Luckily, I’m trying to help the kittens latch on to the mum; two are just about doing it, but I’m having to put them on it, because they are so premature.”
She continued: “As you can see how knackered I am, every two and a half hours through the day and through the night I’m feeding them for the mum.
“She’s a good mum, and then she keeps bringing one to the bed with her; she did that earlier. I think that was a sign to come and look in the box, as one had d13d. So I’ve got two latching on to her now, so that’s the update.”
After turning the camera to Doris, Katie is heard affectionately saying: “Hey Doris, good girl.”
Only a few days prior, Katie had confessed to her sister Sophie on their podcast that she was “scared” about what could transpire during her pet’s pregnancy. She revealed: “Doris is pregnant, and I don’t know how many weeks she is but her belly has gotten bigger and bigger. I’ve noticed she’s been nesting and she keeps wanting to get on me.
“I’ve gone and bought a separate cat litter, another bed, and all of that. I’m going to set it up in my room and leave her in my room because I’ve got the other cats, and I’m scared that if she goes into labour they might eat the kittens.”
She later admitted: “I don’t know how many she’s going to have but I know the kids want me to keep one. And then I know what I’m like, I can’t.”
Katie has previously faced criticism from Peta, with Elisa Allen of the organisation alleging that the star has repeatedly disregarded advice on pet care. She stated: “Anyone who warns Katie not to hurt the animals she takes in might as well be screaming into the wind, for all she seems to care.”
