FOX NFL Sunday stars will reportedly not be allowed to appear on Netflix’s Christmas Day coverage.

Terry Bradshaw and Michael Strahan are a key part of the Fox NFL team.

Their popularity and reach would have made them ideal candidates for Netflix’s broadcast.

But according to Front Office Sports, the duo will not be allowed to cross over.

The report claims that Fox and ESPN are both “**reluctant**” to release on-air talent to Netflix for the day.

That would include the likes of Tom Brady and Kevin Burkhardt in the Fox booth.

And ESPN’s leading broadcasters such as Joe Buck and Troy Aikman would also be part of that agreement.

ESPN host Laura Rutledge was part of Netflix’s coverage in 2024.

Fox commentator Greg Olsen was also on the broadcast team.

Netflix will again show two NFL games globally on Christmas Day.

Their production included a cameo from Mariah Carey with her all-time hit All I Want For Christmas Is You.

There was also a halftime show from Beyonce in her hometown Houston, Texas.

This year, the doubleheader begins with the Dallas Cowboys at the Washington Commanders at 1 pm ET.

Followed at 4.30 pm ET by the Detroit Lions at the Minnesota Vikings.

Amazon Prime will show a game live on Christmas night at 8.15 pm ET: Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncos.
