Robin Roberts is the face of Good Morning America. Her co-host, George Stephanopoulos, has referred to her as the “heart” of the show. But she hasn’t been co-hosting since Thursday, July 24. Viewers are really missing her as the show continues without her.
She actually informed viewers on July 24 that she would be gone for a while on an adventure. She revealed that the anniversary of her first date with her now-wife was coming up that weekend (July 28.) “Twenty years … and counting,” she said. “So we’re going away. We’re going abroad, and we’re going [to] a place that many have on their bucket list.”

‘Never A Dull Moment’ With Wife
Robin Roberts revealed that she and her wife were traveling to Rwanda on a volunteer trip to celebrate the anniversary of their first date. The trip was in collaboration with the Giants of Africa organization.
The Good Morning America co-host and her wife both documented the trip on social media. In one post, Robin Roberts shared a video of Amber dancing with a huge crowd on stage.
“No matter where we are in the world…she hears music and she’s just gotta dance! Never a dull moment with this one,” she captioned the clip.
