I’M A Celebrity plunged into chaos as hosts Ant and Dec unveiled a brand-new twist that pitted celebs against each other – and left Tom in tears.
The stars went head to head in their first Rivals battle, and food was at stake.

Tom Read Wilson broke down in tears tonight after a tough day

Tom was up against Ruby in the Rivals twist and lost

The usual cheery Tom admitted he was struggling
Each pair’s winner would go to the newly transformed Win City complete with plush purple décor and a six-meal bounty, while each loser would be banished to the grim, grey Doomsville and condemned to a night of rice and beans.
Tom found himself up against Ruby in round four, titled Snakey Behaviour.
They were told to reach blindly into boxes and count how many snakes were inside.
Ruby guessed 4 and Tom guessed 8, but Ruby was correct.

The winners – Lisa, Vogue, Jack, Ruby, Alex and Ginge – celebrated in their purple paradise while the losers trudged into Doomsville.
Instead of soft bedding, the group faced a rock-hard bunk and floor-bound groundsheets.
Kelly summed it up bluntly: “This is bleak!” and Martin added: “We are essentially doing time.”
The day’s pressure, the snakes, the loss, and the drab camp, with the meagre dinner finally overwhelmed Tom.
As the group settled into Doomsville, he suddenly cracked, tears streaming as he apologised to his campmates.
“I’m a wreck, sorry… I’m just a wreck today, I can’t stop.
“I think I’ve opened the floodgates a bit.”
He confessed he was missing home as the others comforted him.
The Celebs Go Dating star continued in the Bush Telegraph: “I live alone at home but the people I see in my orbit are so sustaining.
“Here I am ever so slightly lost, deliciously lost, but sometimes it gets the better of you.”
Ant and Dec confirmed that the Rivals twist would continue over the next few days, giving the Doomsville residents another shot at redemption.
