Emmerdale fans have been left wondering if Joe is leaving the show as they spot clues that his death is right around the corner.

It has been confirmed that someone will take revenge against Joe. But with several people in the frame, we don’t know who will be the true attacker. And we’re also unsure if he will die or survive the revenge.

Joe only returned to our screens five months ago, so fans are hoping this won’t be the final time we see him. However, many have spotted new clues that suggest Joe may not survive this time. And with the amount of enemies he has, there are a lot of people willing to take him down forever.

Joe Tate whodunnit confirmed

All of Joe’s enemies will be at Home Farm celebrating Lydia’s birthday. But very quickly the party gets dark and someone strikes against Joe.

Over the last few months, Joe has been collecting endless amounts of enemies. While he already had a lot before his return, he has much more now.

With him and Kim recently deciding to join forces and rebuild the Tate empire, the attack is not expected – despite everything he has done. But more importantly, we have no idea if he survives to tell the story.

Some fans have spotted two huge clues that he dies. And it’s safe to say that viewers are not happy about it.

Emmerdale whodunnit for Joe death?

One fan noticed the choice of outfits for both Joe and Kim are quite similar to previous deadly events in Emmerdale.

In spoiler pictures, Joe is wearing a well-kept suit. And some think we have seen it before.

Taking to X, one fan wrote: “If this is Joe’s exit, he is wearing an identical suit to the one he wore in his first episode as Tom Waterhouse in September 2017. The full circle and foreshadowing is crazy.”

But it’s not just Joe’s suit that has fans fearing the worst. Kim is seen wearing an infamous black dress – just like the ones she was wearing when Frank and Will died. So it seems every time she shows up to a Home Farm party in it – someone dies.

Another user wrote: “Why isn’t Queen Kim on the suspect list. Especially since the infamous black dress is out again! (Like the one she wore in 1997 and Christmas last year)…”

And while there are signs that Joe will die, many think it would be a horrible decision to get rid of him.

Fans fume over potential death

One penned: “So Joe Tate is the victim of a whodunnit storyline. They brought him back for this? As amazing as this looks, can’t say I’m not gutted if he dies. We are so low on Tate’s these days and they are the legacy of the show.”

Another commented: “Killing off Joe Tate is one of the biggest mistakes the show could ever make. Absolutely horrible decision if he dies.”

“I’m actually going to be heartbroken if they have made the decision to end Joe’s character. I had a bad feeling it would be this way but I am so gutted.”

While no exit has been confirmed, things aren’t looking good..
