BREAKING PRINCE HARRY BOMBSHELL: Good Morning Britain Abruptly HALTS Show for Urgent Royal ANNOUNCEMENT, Leaving Viewers Stunned

Good Morning Britain was halted for a breaking update on Prince Harry. Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid fronted Monday’s (December 8) edition of GMB, while Ranvir Singh joined them in the studio to share other news.

The presenters were reading through the day’s headlines, which included peace talks at Downing Street between Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Richard then said: “Breaking news this morning that Prince Harry may get his armed protection back when he comes to the UK. It could mean that the King is reunited with his grandchildren for the first time in three years.”

Earlier in the programme, Ranvir spoke to correspondent Richard Gaisford, who revealed there’s a suggestion that regular reviews are made on security for high profile people.

He explained: “It may be that word has come down that relations are thawing amongst members of the Royal Family and it would be useful to have Prince Harry back with his family as well.”

Richard claimed that having this review will likely open the door to a possible reunion between the king and his grandchildren because that lack of security in Harry’s mind “certainly was the reason why he has not been bringing them here from California”.

Harry was furious when the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) removed his 24-hour armed protection after he stepped down as a working royal in 2020.

The Duke of Sussex previously claimed it was not safe to bring his wife, Meghan Markle, or their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, to the UK, believing there was a threat to their lives if they did not have security.

He battled the High Court earlier this year to attempt to get his taxpayer-funded police protection reinstated, but he lost and blamed it on an “establishment stitch-up”.

The Sun reported the Home Office has had a change of heart and ordered a fresh review of the prince’s security situation. The process is said to be underway, with evidence being gathered from the police, the government, and Harry’s team.

The Home Office, which oversees Ravec, is expected to make a decision by next month. If they determine Harry does require armed police protection, it will be funded by the taxpayers whenever he returns to the UK.
