“SH0CK EXIT!” : ITV Lorraine star CONFIRMS ‘LAST DAY’ on show — emotional farewell and surprise REVEAL leaves fans STUNNED.k

Regular host Lorraine Kelly has been on a break, but is heading back to the ITV show next week

Ranvir Singh said goodbye to Lorraine viewers as she revealed it was her final summer programme. The television presenter has been standing in for usual host Lorraine Kelly on the ITV daytime show, whilst the star enjoys her summer holiday. However, as she concluded Friday’s episode (August 29), she informed fans she was passing the baton back to Lorraine.

“Thanks so much, guys,” Ranvir said. “And that’s my last day of the summer. Lorraine’s back on Monday at 9am. Have a lovely weekend!”

Lorraine, 65, usually takes a break during the summer months, relishing quality time with her family including daughter Rosie and granddaughter Billie.

This year they headed off on holiday to Spain, with the TV personality photographed with Billie in Marbella.

Rosie, who welcomed Billie in 2024, also posted several holiday photographs on social media, reports Daily Record.

The sweet shots showed the family on strolls in the sunshine, savouring luxurious dinners and splashing about in the swimming pool.

“Our week in the sun,” she wrote alongside the collection of pictures. Lots of BBQs when Billie was (finally) sleeping, tons of baby swimming and walking in her new jelly shoes.”

Fans were delighted by the photographs, with one commenting: “Just a beautiful wee family.”

“Have the best well deserved holiday,” remarked another.

“Hope you are all having a lovely time – love you Lorraine,” wrote someone else.

Ranvir – who also works as a newsreader and presenter for Good Morning Britain – frequently covers for Lorraine and has described it as a genuine “privilege” to host the programme.

She previously said: “What I love about doing the show is, because I’m so used to doing such a lot of hard news and politics – and of course Lorraine covers all of the hard stories as well – but it’s a chance for a lighter touch.

“Just to be able to speak to guests about what’s going on in their lives, as opposed to always looking for a headline. I just really enjoy that, spending time talking to people in a way that you can’t in three minute interviews. It’s just a real thrill for me.
