Michelle Keegan has shared a deeply emotional message with fans following the completion of her final scenes as Erin Croft in the beloved Sky One comedy-drama Brassic. Her heartfelt post marks the end of an era not just for her character, but for the series as a whole – one that has captured the hearts of audiences since its debut. The news that Brassic would not be returning for an eighth series was first revealed in January, leaving longtime viewers shocked and saddened. Now, with filming officially wrapped, Keegan’s goodbye feels even more final.

In her message, the actress reflected on the incredible seven-season journey she’s had with the show, expressing profound gratitude for the cast, crew, and fans who supported her throughout. Erin Croft, a fierce and resilient character, quickly became a fan-favourite, and Keegan’s performance consistently brought warmth, wit, and emotional depth to the role. Her final days on set were clearly charged with nostalgia, and her words carried the bittersweet weight of closure.

As tributes pour in and fans express how much they’ll miss Erin’s presence on screen, it’s clear that Brassic has left a lasting impact. While Michelle Keegan hasn’t yet revealed what’s next for her career, this emotional farewell suggests she’s closing one meaningful chapter before stepping into another.

Actress Michelle, 37, today revealed she’s also gutted the show has come to an end.

She took to Instagram to post some of her highlights from over the years as she wrapped up her time on set.

Michelle said: “Goodbye Erin…

“So finally the Brassic journey has come to an end (feels so strange saying that) and what an unbelievable 7 years it’s been. I feel so privileged to have been a small part of such a mighty show.”

“From the moment I read the 1st script I knew this job was going to be special & it definitely was.”

Michelle added: “Thank you to everyone who worked on the show over the years for the laughs, friendship and more importantly the memories… What a magical 7 years we had.”

But there’s no doubt Michelle has got enough on at the moment to keep her busy, after she and husband Mark Wright welcomed baby girl Palma last month.

Following the sad news about Brassic in January, Michelle wasted no time in setting the record straight.

Michelle – who shot to fame as Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street and last year starred in huge Netflix hit Fool Me Once – took to social media to hit back at claims Brassic was axed by Sky One.

She said: “And just for the record… Brassic has not been ‘AXED’ or ‘cancelled’.
