It’s that time of the year again. As folks usher in 2025, social media feeds have been filled by a stream of recaps from the previous year.

Rapper Post Malone submitted his entry on Wednesday as he greeted his fans a “happy new year.” The multi-Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter shared a series of photos documenting 2024 as he looked back on his best memories over the past 12 months.
One of Malone’s photos included Taylor Swift, who he collaborated with for the song “Fortnight.” The track is the first single and the opening song of Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” album.
“Fortnight” has been nominated for a Grammy for both Song of the Year and Record of the Year. Malone’s photo of Swift appears to be from the “Fortnight” music video.
The fact that the hip-hop star included this moment as part of his 2024 recap goes to show how his encounter with Swift had a memorable impact on his previous year. Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce caught wind of Malone’s subtle nod for his girlfriend, and the All-Pro tight end just had to react.
Kelce kept his reaction low-key as well as he gave the Instagram post a simple like. Swift and Kelce had a great 2024 themselves as they surpassed the one-year mark in their relationship.
Things appear to be going as strong as ever for the happy couple as reports now indicate that they are preparing to take the next steps in their romance.
Swift is reportedly planning to make her “home base” in Nashville to be closer to Kelce. The Chiefs star, in turn, is supposedly already considering retirement once his current contract comes to an end in 2027 in favor of starting a family with Swift.
For now, though, Kelce is focused on doing everything he can to help lead the two-time defending champs to an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat. The NFL playoffs are right around the corner and the Chiefs have a long road ahead of them.
