Seven men from Chile have been charged with the burglaries of several pro athletes’ homes, including those of NFL stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Months after those players, as well as Cincinnati Bengals’ Joe Burrow and others, were victims of burglaries at their respective homes, federal prosecutors charged seven men in connection to the break-ins.

The federal indictment alleges they’re part of a spree of burglaries of star athletes’ homes by criminals from South America. The group is accused of stealing nearly $1.5 million in jewelry, cash, and designer bags. Four of the men posed for a selfie with watches, jewelry, and a safe that was mangled.

Milwaukee Bucks star Bobby Portis was also among the victims.

“It’s kind of gratifying that these guys have been caught,” Portis said per Fox News. “Obviously, you work so hard for your things.”

The picture below shows Pablo Zuniga Cartes, Ignacio Zuniga Cartes, Bastian Jimenez Freraut, and an unknown fourth man. Federal prosecutors said this is proof of part of the haul from Portis’ home.

All seven face charges of conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property.

Joe Burrow, Travis Kelce, and Patrick Mahomes were not specifically named in the complaint, the dates and locations coincided with the break-ins reported at their homes.
