King Charles and Queen Camilla are embarking on a trip to Italy next month during what will be their 20th wedding anniversary.

King Charles and Queen Camilla’s trip to Italy

Next month will see King Charles and Queen Camilla jet off to Italy. Their plans whilst there have been revealed recently.

The royal engagement will see Charles and Queen Camilla visit the Holy See in Rome and have an audience with Pope Francis.

They’ll also attend a service in the Sistine Chapel to reflect on Pope Francis and the king’s commitment to nature.

The royal couple will also visit Ravenna, a city in the north of the country. While there, they will attend a reception marking the 80th anniversary of the province’s liberation by Allied forces.

There will be a festival to celebrate Emilia-Romagna cuisine, Slow Food and the region’s produce.

The trip is to take place on Charles and Camilla’s 20th wedding anniversary. The royal couple tied the knot on April 9th, 2005, at Windsor Guildhall.

Meghan Markle to overshadow Charles and Camilla’s Italy trip with podcast release?

However, Charles and Camilla may not have all eyes on them during their time in Italy, thanks to Meghan.

The Duchess of Sussex has announced that the launch of her new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, will be releasing on April 8th.

This, of course, is the day before Charles and Camilla’s wedding anniversary.

Earlier today (Tuesday, March 25), the duchess shared the first trailer from her new pod.

In the trailer, Meghan says: “I’m Meghan, and this is Confessions of a Female Founder, a show where I chat with female entrepreneurs and friends about the sleepless nights, the lessons learned, and the laser focus that got them to where they are today.

“We’re diving into the highs – and the lows – and the kind of advice that turns small ideas into billion-dollar businesses. And of course, we’re going to get some girl talk!” she then added.

In the trailer, various guests can be heard speaking.

“It just started climbing and climbing, and there was 5,000, 10,000 people on our website. I’m broke, and no one is calling me,” one female CEO says.

“I knew in that moment that I’d rather stand for something than sell a whole ton of product and stand for nothing,” another states.

The duchess also asks one guest about their relationship status in the trailer.

“Are you saying you’re not single now? Have I missed something in the past couple weeks? What’s happening?!”she says.

Closing out the podcast trailer, Meghan says: “And through it all, I’m building a business of my own, and getting all sorts of practical advice along the way that I’m very excited to share with you.
