Queen of the Met Gala Rihanna has seemingly confirmed she is expecting baby number three by showing off what appears to be a pregnancy bump. The singer, who shares two sons with partner A$AP Rocky, has sparked rumours that another baby is on the way over recent weeks, thanks multiple baggy outfits concealing her stomach.
But in a video shared on social media this evening, Rihanna appears to perhaps be ready to confirm the speculation by donning a figure-hugging ensemble as she made her way to the 2025 Met Gala in New York City.
Rihanna, who is usually fashionably late to the annual fundraiser, seemingly used her fitted two-piece Miu Miu look to make a big announcement at the 2025 gala, where her partner A$AP is co-chair. Before walking the blue carpet, the star was snapped outside at The Carlyle Hotel with her outfit on full display.

“Rihanna pregnant again that album is NEVER coming #MetGala2025,” one fan wrote on Twitter (X) as the pictures of the star setting off to the event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art emerged online. “Rihanna pregnant and beautiful,” another assuming fan penned as the pictures of Rihanna went viral, with a third joking: “rihanna pregnant with everything but an album.” The Mirror has approached representatives for Rihanna for comment.
The Work hitmaker confirmed her second pregnancy in a similar low-key manner in 2023 when she revealed her growing bump during her Super Bowl performance. In the process, she became the first person to headline the halftime show while pregnant.
However, the Fenty founder later revealed she hadn’t originally planned to debut her bump during the game. “Here’s the thing. I did what I had to do, right? My jumper couldn’t zip up,” she told Access Hollywood in December 2023.

Laughing, she added: “No one knew I was pregnant. I just told my stylist, ‘Make sure it’s stretchy.’ So the undergarment was stretchy and this [jacket] was baggy, but you know, the zip. It just stopped right there! So it had to be what it had to be.”
Rihanna has two children with rapper A$AP Rocky : a son named RZA, born in May 2022, and another son named Riot Rose, born in August 2023. In a candid interview last year, the SOS singer revealed that becoming a mother had made her more fearful in life.
“I’m actually afraid of sh**. The well-being of your kids, you worry about that constantly,” she told The Cut. “Nobody warns you that having kids means you’re going to worry every second of your life.”
Earlier this year, the star opened up further about raising RZA, 2, and Riot, 1. “Every decision I make revolves around them, but everything that I do that I love robs me of them,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “So I have a weird resentment with the things that I love. You almost feel like something is always suffering for you to show up somewhere.”

Gushing about her sons, the proud mum added: “RZA is just an empath. He’s so magical. He loves music. He loves melody. He loves books. And Riot, he’s just hilarious. When he wakes up, he starts to squeal, scream. Not in a crying way. He just wants to sing. And I’m like, ‘Okay, here we go!’ He’s my alarm in the morning! He’s not taking no for an answer from anyone. I don’t know where he came from, dude.”
Rihanna turned heads with her effortlessly chic androgynous look as she joined the star-studded Met Gala co-chairs at Anna Wintour’s New York City residence on Sunday. The 37 year old singer was accompanied by her beau A$AP Rocky, along with other celebrities like Serena Williams, Pharrell, Colman Domingo and James Corden.
Rihanna sported a stylish brown pinstriped jacket, cinched at the waist with a bold black belt. The award-winning singer’s outfit sparked further speculation about her possible third pregnancy, given her recent preference for baggy clothing.
Her ensemble featured a patchwork design centred around the sport coat, complete with wide-set pinstripes and fabric-covered buttons. The jacket also had an interesting train made of contrasting black material with a suit-like satin lining, held by one of her guards as she stepped out of her SUV.
Adding a pop of colour to her outfit, Rihanna wore a vibrant scarlet button-up shirt and paired her jacket with black pinstriped trousers in a tighter pattern. She accessorised her look with a black leather belt, a gold pocket chain, a multicoloured pocket square, and elegant grey pointy-toed heels.
