SAD NEWS: Radio host Aimee Vivian ISSUES Desperate Plea after making HEARTBREAKING ANNOUNCEMENT

Radio presenter Aimee Vivian was left in excrutiating pain as she was rushed to hospital following a horror health scare. The Capital FM DJ said she thought she was going to d!e after her GP missed the symptoms. The 34-year-old was diagnosed with d3adly sepsis from breastfeeding her baby. The presenter was hospitalised in June with the life-threatening condition as the new mum experienced severe symptoms similar to mastitis – where your breast becomes swollen, hot and painful which is most common in breastfeeding women.
Aimee said she had a straightforward pregnancy and after undergoing a Caesarian she was only in the hospital overnight for her baby’s birth. But not long after returning home she began to experience pain. Aimee’s body was producing an abundance of breast milk. Her breasts became painfully engorged and medical staff offered advice on how to tackle it, but nothing seemed to help. After speaking with her GP, who advised her to continue breastfeeding, Aimee was not satisfied and feared something was wrong with her body.

But Aimee’s condition worsened as she told The Mirror: “I woke up early one Sunday morning to feed Charli and I was so cold my whole body was shaking. My head hurt so much I could barely lift it. Then I tried to pump some milk.
“The pain was excruciating and it was clear the milk was infected – there was puss in it.”
Aimee was admitted to hospital and given intravenous antibiotics as doctors told her she had a “serious infection” later confirmed as sepsis.
“I remember looking at a hospital midwife and saying ‘please don’t let me d!e tonight,” she recalled.
“I really thought I wasn’t going to make it. I still can’t believe something so simple, which is supposed to provide life, almost ended mine.”
Aimee shared her husband Steve visited her in the hospital with her newborn daughter Charli and the radio host feared she’d never see them again after her septic breast milk “nearly k!lled me”.
She returned home after four days in hospital but her recovery was slow.

Aimee is now determined to speak out about her ordeal and encourage other women to get informed. Speaking during Sepsis Awareness Month, she said: “Motherhood is an amazing journey but it can be hard.”
She is now encouraging women to be more aware about mastitis symptoms.
Aimee has been a regular on Capital FM for the past decade and is due to return to the airwaves in October.
