Meghan Markle has “no chance” of ever reconciling with the Royal Family following her “despicable” att@cks against them, according to a royal commentator.
The Duchess of Sussex has remained estranged from her royal in-laws since her dramatic exit from The Firm six years ago. Meghan has spoken at length about her difficulties as a working royal through a series of high-profile interviews and her Netflix docuseries alongside her husband, Prince Harry. The Duke’s memoir, Spare, also contains numerous allegations involving his wife against the royal family.
The Sussex couple’s move to the UK this year has ignited hopes of a potential path toward reconciliation. Now, one royal commentator has weighed in on whether a reunion between Meghan Markle and the Royal Family could ever become a reality.
Lee Cohen, a US-based columnist and royal and foreign policy commentator.”She [Meghan Markle] brought endless drama, grievance and attention-seeking to an institution built on duty, discretion and service, casting a shadow over the final years of the beloved late Queen.”

“Another chance? The only thing she deserves is permanent exile from the family she insulted so despicably.”
During her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, which sent shockwaves around the world and within Palace walls, Meghan declared that “she didn’t want to be alive anymore” throughout her brief royal tenure. The Duchess claimed that she felt unprotected from the tabloids by the Firm,
She stated, “It was all happening just because I was breathing. I just didn’t want to be alive any more. That was a clear, real, frightening, and constant thought.”
According to Mirror royal editor Russell Myers, who has authored the book William and Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story,” Meghan and Harry’s alleged behavior towards her staff was a turning point for the Waleses.

“At first she had thought William and Harry’s squabbles were rooted in immaturity or stubbornness, on both sides, but Harry and Meghan’s attitude towards palace staff, who she and William cared about, set the couple on an entirely different course,” Myers explained.
Furthermore, regarding the couple’s return to the UK, Myers believes that both the King and William are reportedly in “complete agreement” that Harry and Meghan cannot maintain a ‘half in, half out’ position within the monarchy, and the Duke of Sussex is not expected to resume his royal duties following his return to the UK.
