Everyone’s been behaving badly in our Emmerdale review this week. There’s barely anyone who’s covered themselves in glory in the village these past few days. Frankly we’re disappointed in them all.
Here’s what we think in this week’s Emmerdale review.

Caleb and Kim and the Tate obsession
So Caleb’s got the bit of land he wanted all along, Kim’s got Joe in her pocket and everyone’s happy. Except Caleb’s still down a kidney and Joe’s clearly not someone Kim should be trusting. It’s all a bit baffling and confusing.
And here’s the thing. WHY is Kim so obsessed with being a Tate and behaving like a Tate and establishing a Tate empire? She’s not even a Tate! The Tates were horrible to her and treated her like dirt. She’s been married to two other men since she married Frank Tate. And yet the obsession continues.
Kim’s maiden name was Barker and we reckon she should reclaim it. Own it. It’s perfect.

Emmerdale review: John’s out of control
Top of the bad behaviour list this week is weirdo murderer John Sugden. And oh dear, oh dear. his Aidan Moore secret is well and truly out.
First Victoria found out the truth about Aidan, and then Mack found out, and now everyone knows. And John is not handling it well! Aaron called off the wedding – briefly – and John lurked round the village looking moody.
Then John reverted to type and whacked Liam over the head so he could save the day. Aaron changed his mind, and everything’s good.
Except we think Liam might be on to John. He’s quite sharp-witted is Dr Cavanagh (though he hides it well!).
He definitely gave John an odd look when Jacob had his allergic reaction, and now John’s faked an upset stomach just when Liam’s been whacked over the head. It’s suspicious, there’s no doubt about it! Is Liam going to uncover John’s crimes?
Also, can we just point out how lucky and coincidental it is that Aidan’s is Hotten General? What are the chances, eh?!

Emmerdale review: Kammy, Sarah and Jacob
If it’s bad behaviour you’re after then how about the boring Kammy/Sarah/Jacob love triangle? Kammy and Jacob’s bike race was ridiculous.
We can’t understand why it even happened. Or why the supposed grown-ups – Charity, Cain and Sam – had anything to do with it. Sarah was right to be so cross about the whole thing.
WHAT was Charity thinking?! (Credit: ITV)
Charity has lost her mind
We love Charity Dingle. But her weird fixation on getting Sarah back with the lad who broke her heart needs to stop.
And her weird vendetta against Kammy is beginning to look well, can we say a little bit racist? All her muttering about ‘lads like him’ and ‘his sort’ is sounding very questionable.
Give it a rest, Charity. Please.

Emmerdale review: Dawn is a terrible person
Every week we keep little notes about Emmerdale so we know what to write about in this very review. And this week we have written not once, not twice, but three times that Dawn is a terrible person. So we must really mean it!
The former Mrs Fletcher is definitely letting her heart rule her head, putting Joe above her family and we’re absolutely sure she’s going to find everything falling down around her any day now.
But saying all that, we also think Billy’s being a bit of a wally too.

All the good stuff
In among all the bad behaviour though there were some things we really loved. Our adoration of little Thomas continues, and we really liked him hanging out with Mandy.
Claudette should definitely be the new receptionist at the surgery because she was hilarious.
And then there’s Mack and Aaron. Mack is super-super annoying. Never more so than when he’s being supercilous and holier than thou about people lying. Two words, Mack. Chloe. Reuben.
But somehow, when he’s with Aaron, he’s not so bad. And Aaron’s grumpiness is easier to cope with when he’s around Mack, too. They’re great together. We will never understand why WAAAAY back when Mack had cheated on Charity with a mystery person it wasn’t Aaron. They belong together and this week just proved it even more.
