First-time mum and TV personality Charlotte Chilton previously publicly claimed that singer Conor Maynard is Penelope’s father but alleged he has not been involved with the baby

The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton opened up about her money struggles as a single mother after welcoming a baby she says is fathered by Conor Maynard.
The first-time mum and TV personality, who previously publicly claimed that singer Conor Maynard is Penelope’s father but alleged he has not been involved with the baby, introduced her daughter to the world in an exclusive photoshoot with OK! at her home.
Her Traitors co-star reportedly introduced Charlotte to Connor, sparking a chain of events that resulted in the arrival of a baby girl last year. She also claimed he has yet to meet the adorable baby after allegedly ghosting her and refusing to acknowledge Penelope as his child.
In a new interview, Charlotte detailed the difficulty in working while raising a newborn baby. Charlotte, who just launched her recruitment consultancy business, said: “You struggle financially to make ends start in a new business. You don’t take a salary very often in your first year – and I’m trying to do this whilst I’ve got a newborn baby – do you look after a newborn and do recruitment? It’s very difficult to manage.”

Charlotte told MailOnline that her daughter has ‘everything she needs’ as she goes ‘without so she can have these things’. The TV star went on to say her friends and family ‘break their backs’ offering their support to her and the baby, including helping her pay bills and giving her a place to live as she saves some money.
The star announced the arrival of her daughter via social media on 18 October. She wrote online: “Princess Penelope has arrived and we have been enjoying our ‘Penelope bubble’ so much,I am going to be off the radar for a little longer, whilst I enjoy these magical moments with my precious girl!! Thank you to all that have checked in to make sure I am ok!! my heart is full.”
Discussing her short fling with Conor, Charlotte previously explained to The Sun: “We had a great night together and even sent Harry a selfie of us in bed saying, ‘Successful match’. We kept in touch, confided in each other and planned to meet up. But after I told him I was pregnant that apparently decent man changed.
“He turned on me, I felt pressured into keeping his identity as the father a secret. He told me, ‘I’m not ready to be a dad. It’s nothing against you, Charlotte, but even if we’d been together three years, I would be the exact same. I do not want to have a child. That’s why I haven’t got a dog’.”
