Jake Paul Drops Shocking Opinion About MMA While Deeming It Inferior Than Boxing – “Sh**tier”

Jake Paul has made quite a name for himself in the boxing realm recently. Coming off as a YouTube star, Paul’s move to professional boxing was seen as a gimmick by many. However, over the years, Paul has slowly established his stronghold in the boxing ring. With his professional record sitting at 11-1, the 28-year-old now boasts of wins against the likes of Nate Diaz, Ben Askren, Anderson Silva, and more.
However, despite his prominent presence, Jake Paul has never been out of controversy. He has been making comments here and there that get the limelight back to him in a negative way. Continuing the trend, Paul has yet another statement that has sent ripples. And this time, he is demeaning the entire sport of MMA!
Speaking with ‘ats_fight’, Jake Paul labelled MMA as the “sh**tier version of boxing.” Paul further stated, “Everyone is getting good takedown defence and everyone is a black belt in jiu jitsu. There’s no more submissions, really. There’s not a lot of takedowns… it’s literally kickboxing.”
Such a comment shall surely enrage the MMA fans significantly. With the likes of Ilia Topuria, Islam Makhachev, and Alex Pereira reigning supreme in UFC, Conor McGregor taking up BKFC’s ownership, it remains to be seen if any of the stars responds to Paul’s claims. Meanwhile, keeping the hype train going, Jake Paul has dropped a major update.

Jake Paul had a perfect 2024 with 3 wins in the year. His biggest highlight of the career will be his victory against the legendary Mike Tyson. And while the match created a significant hype, Paul’s next opponent too, is enough to get the fans riled up.
In a recent update, ‘Front Office Sports’ shared on Instagram that Jake’s next opponent will be his brother, Logan Paul. “The moment you’ve waited a decade for… March 27 on @streamonmax,” read the post.
