SAVANNAH GUTHRIE Gushes About HODA KOTB On Her Birthday: ‘I Treasure Every Minute We Get To Spend Together’

Hoda Kotb is feeling the love from her TODAY family and work besties.

The TODAY co-anchor celebrated her 60th birthday on Aug. 9 and received a touching tribute from Savannah Guthrie, who shared a photo of them laughing while on the air.

“Happy birthday to the one who brings a smile to every person she encounters, who is quick with a hug, whose giggle is infectious, who cheerleads for others relentlessly,” Savannah began. “To the one whose mere presence immediately changes the atmosphere for the better.”

She added, “I love you and admire you and treasure every minute we get to spend together. This is 60, you beautiful creature you!”

Savannah and Hoda just came back from an exciting couple of weeks covering the Summer Games from Paris — and with an extraordinary view of the Eiffel Tower.

On an “adventure of a lifetime,” the co-anchors, along with Craig Melvin and Al Roker, took over the city of love to cheer on Team USA, shop, eat, give viewers behind-the-scenes looks at the Games with medalists and much more.

With the ladies of TODAY back in New York, Hoda will get to reunite with fellow co-host Jenna Bush Hager, who also gave her a birthday shoutout.

“Happiest Birthday to my dearest @hodakotb ! You make me smile every single day,” Jenna wrote alongside a slideshow filled with photos of the two together over the years. “How lucky I am! How lucky we all are! Love you! Can’t wait to celebrate Monday!”

Hoda celebrated her 60th birthday by being surrounded by those she loves most, daughters, Haley Joy, 7, and Hope Catherine, 5, and more friends and family.

She posted a photo of herself with her family, arms in the air as “Happy 60 birthday” gold balloons filled the background. She also shared another post of her “great bday morning,” opening presents and more.

Hoda had previously reflected on her upcoming milestone birthday and decade, saying, “My 50s were my best, and I imagine, because my 50s were my best, that my 60s will be even better than that.”

She added, “Blessings come when they come. You don’t get the choice. In my 50s, I got my children, I got the job I dreamt of, I found out who I was myself. Finally, I feel like I’m 100% me.”
