Craig Melvin is definitely a family man, and he is celebrating one of those he loves most in the world.

On March 10, the Today show host and his wife Lindsay Czarniak had the opportunity to mark a personal milestone for their family. As Lindsay revealed on Instagram, the couple celebrated their son Delano turning 11 years old (they also share daughter Sybil). Sharing a series of photos of her and Craig with Delano throughout his childhood, Lindsay shared a heartfelt tribute about how special it has been to have Delano in their lives.
“Here we are … 11!” she wrote in an emotional caption. “Eleven amazing years of being this guy’s mom. I can’t explain how proud I am. Del’s kindness and humor and ability to understand when others just need a hug is pretty special. Learning who he is is the best adventure. Happy Birthday son! Here’s to the second star to be right … “

When fans saw that Craig and Lindsay were marking an important moment for Delano, they immediately went to the comments with their own sweet messages for him.
“Happy 11th birthday to your beautiful son 🎂💙 Enjoy these years with him!” one person wrote. “Happy Birthday Del! Sweet pics Lindsay! 🩵🤍💙,” another declared. “HBD buddy!!! I can’t believe Del is ELEVEN!” a different follower added.
We sure love to see it! What’s more, Craig has been vocal about the influence being a parent has had on him in the past. As he shared with Good Housekeeping back in May 2024, being a dad is his proudest accomplishment — and he’s happy about what maintaining it has entailed over the years.
“If you asked me before children, I would have given you four or five professional accomplishments because my job is awesome,” he stated at the time. “But I’m immensely proud of the family that my wife and I are building. I’m proud of my extended family and the relationship I’ve been able to forge with my father late in life.”
