Impractical Jokers has been the talk of the town and not because of what it’s about.
The premise of the show was to have hidden cameras around and Brian “Q” Quinn, James “Murr” Murray, Sal Vulcano and Joe Gatto would perform improvisational elements. Impractical Jokers made its debut in December 2011 and currently airing season 11. Joe shocked the world in December 2021 when he announced that he would be leaving Impractical Jokers after nine seasons.
Four years later, two women came forward and accused Joe of s3xual assault and s3xual harassment. Joe entered an in-patient facility after the allegations and even cancelled his upcoming scheduled tour dates.
Joe shared a statement to PEOPLE, which read: “Having taken some time to reflect, l’ve decided to voluntarily enter an inpatient program to continue working on myself. I just want to thank my friends, fans and especially my family for all of their support — never more so than over the last few days.”

Some episodes of the show were removed
Before the allegations, Joe and his Impractical Jokers friends were dealing with some raging fans after the show arrived on Max and some episodes were missing. Episodes 9 and 24 from the series’ 4th season, and episode 12 from Season 7 were pulled, along with 16 and 25 from Season 8.
Not only did the episodes not appear on the streaming platform but the same ones were also removed from YouTube. Some of the episodes on the show Joe in a speedo or other jokers being inappropriate.
A fan once mentioned Max on X, formerly known as Twitter, and asked what happened to the missing episodes. The streaming platform responded: “Hi, thank you for your interest in HBO Max content. As we take steps to deliver an even better streaming offering, we will be at times be modifying our available shows and movies. Part of that process includes the removal of select content. We hope this helps. Thanks ! ^AG.”
Max also doesn’t have some episodes from the spin-off Impractical Jokers: Inside Jokes. Impractical Jokers: After Party, hosted by Joey Fatone, also seemed to be incomplete.
