He’s best known for playing Andy Sugden in Emmerdale but Kelvin Fletcher is now embracing fatherhood.
The star, 32, and his actress wife Eliza introduce their daughter, Marnie Molly Fletcher in the latest issue of OK! magazine.
The happy couple welcomed their first child into the world at 7.32am on Thursday August 25.

Of his 8lb 7oz daughter Kelvin told the publication: ‘I never imagined I could be so obsessed with a little person. I knew I’d be hands-on, but fatherhood is incredible.
Doting mother Eliza added: ‘Marnie’s incredible, she’s such a little angel. She sleeps really well and she’s a really calm baby.’

After an exhausting 30 hour labour, Kelvin revealed: ‘Liz had to have a blood transfusion, but she was so brave.
‘Seeing Liz go through a traumatic birth made me look at her in a different light.’
The proud dad continued: ‘I have utmost respect for her and my love for her has gone up tenfold.
‘And in a different way too; there’s a bond that’s created instantly and I’m indebted to Liz forever for bringing Marnie into the world. It’s a miracle.’
Kelvin admitted: ‘I was really worried that after the birth, Liz wouldn’t want any more kids – but a couple of days after Marnie was born, Liz told me she couldn’t wait to have another baby!’
Eliza added: ‘I absolutely love being a mum so I really hope we can have more. We have so much fun as parents and we’re such a good team.’
