Buckingham Palace has been warned to “watch their back” after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reunited with King Charles. The monarch saw his grandchildren, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Highgrove earlier this month. It was the first time Archie and Lilibet had seen Charles since the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.

The meeting has been interpreted as a sign of the thawing of the relationship between the King and his estranged son, Harry. It has also led to speculation that the Sussexes may want to pursue a royal role after they stepped back as working royals in 2020.

Daily Mail Royal Editor, Rebecca English, told the latest episode of the publication’s Palace Confidential podcast that there was a need to be on guard. She said: “I think the Palace do need to be alive to the fact there is a lot of concern that meeting will be used as a way to inveigle themselves back in to this half in and half out role – not maybe in the short term, but in the long term – and I think that is something people in the UK and around the world are deeply concerned about.”

The royal expert said the Palace went into the reunion with the “best of intentions”, but she did not know about the Sussex side, adding: “That’s where they need to watch their back a bit.”

King Charles’ 9-word ‘ultimatum’ to Prince Harry revealed

Prince Harry has been handed an “ultimatum” by his father after bringing his children to Britain for the first time in four years, according to reports. The Sandringham reunion was viewed by many as a sign of thawing relations between the Sussexes and the Royal Family, but Harry and Meghan Markle could still be treading on thin ice.

A source told Closer that King Charles was “very pleased” to see Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, but made a point of letting his son and daughter-in-law know exactly where they stand. “[He said] this is their absolute last chance,” they added. “If they put a foot wrong again, that’s it.”

“From now on, things happen on his terms, or not at all,” the source continued. “Harry’s been told he needs to take a back seat and trust his father to handle things his way, in his timing, even if it’s slower than he and Meghan would like.”

The Duchess of Sussex took to her Instagram yesterday to share some sweet family snaps taken this summer. Meghan Markle, 44, posted a number of new photographs online, including ones of herself, her husband Prince Harry, and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

This comes after the family reportedly spent some time in Europe this summer before a brief UK visit earlier this month. Meghan has not disclosed exactly where these photographs were taken, instead simply captioning the post: “Summer Holiday.”

Barefoot Prince Louis sparks frenzy after adorable cameo in Prince George’s birthday video

Prince Louis had a short cameo in Prince George’s video and royal fans were delighted. On Wednesday, July 22, Kensington Palace released a video of Prince George to mark his 13th birthday. In the footage, George could be seen enjoying himself at a beach in Cornwall.

The behind-the-scenes video montage showed the prince, who turned 13 on Wednesday, clambering over the rocks barefoot with his younger brother Prince Louis, playing cricket on the sand, and waving and smiling at the camera as he sports the sunglasses he wore to Wimbledon. It was filmed during the family’s Easter holiday in the South West, and was accompanied by a message on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s social media reading: “Thank you for all the birthday wishes for George today!”

King Charles and Harry’s ‘secret agreement’ before Archie and Lilibet visited Highgrove

King Charles and Prince Harry reportedly made an agreement before the monarch reunited with his grandchildren Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet earlier this month, it has been claimed. On July 10, Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle took their children to the King’s private Highgrove home.

Once there, the family-of-four spent time with King Charles and Queen Camilla. The meeting was kept top secret, with very few knowing it was taking place. It is believed the meeting, which reportedly lasted just over an hour, was successful.
