Pete Wicks and Olivia Attwood squirmed as they were reunited on Loose Women after pictures of them getting cosy in Ibiza were shared online – and she revealed exactly why she invited him.

On Wednesday’s instalment of the daytime chat show, the reality TV stars joined Sam Thompson and host Christine Lampard in the ITV studio.

The on-screen appearance followed snaps of Olivia, 34, looking cosy with former TOWIE star Pete, 36, while enjoying a boat party in the Spanish hotspot earlier this week.

The pictures in question – which show Pete with his arm around Olivia’s waist – are said to have landed the former Love Island star well and truly in the dog house with her husband.

And in a Loose Women segment on relationships with friends, Olivia explained she is the member of her social circle who typically throws parties and organises events.

But, in a subtle quip that appeared to go ignored by the panel, she added: ‘That’s why I invited Pete on holiday.’

The tension didn’t stop there, and the pair squirmed in their seats as they were asked about having children – although they emphatically agreed that they weren’t ready for parenthood.

Of being asked why she doesn’t have children, Olivia said: ‘I get that question all the time, I’m not in that place yet. It’s a commitment for the rest of your life.’

She continued: ‘I’ve always been aware of my health and got my fertility checked, but it’s not just a baby – it’ll be an adult.’

Pete nodded along, before chiming in: ‘I find it really difficult – this conversation.

‘People always think you’re a horrendous monster for not having kids. Society tells you you need to get married, you need to have kids.

‘People don’t go up to someone who has kids and say “why do you have kids” so it doesn’t make sense that you’d ask the same of someone who doesn’t have them.’

Elsewhere in the programme, Pete complimented Olivia’s ‘great tan’ as a picture of her filled the large screen in the studio.

And the close friends found common ground yet again when discussing the first stages of a relationship, with both claiming ‘when you feel lust, you get blinkers on’.

‘When I’ve fallen in love with someone so instantly, or felt lust, I’ve overlooked some madness,’ Olivia said. ‘If you like them, you just blinker everything out.’

Pete joined in: ‘I agree with that – if you like someone enough, you look past everything.’

Olivia’s husband Bradley Dack was ‘furious’ about her wild five-day Ibiza holiday with Pete.

It was revealed last week that footballer Bradley’s Gillingham teammates shared intimate pictures of Olivia and her podcast co-host Pete on a team WhatsApp group and she’s since been pictured without her wedding ring on.

Three weeks before her Ibiza trip, Olivia seemed to hint at tension in her marriage as she told fans gathered at the launch of her hit TV show Bad Boyfriends: ‘I’ve been a bad girlfriend, I could be on Bad Wives!’

But now the Daily Mail can reveal the truth about those cosy pictures and Bradley’s reaction.

An insider has explained that while Olivia and her husband of two years have an unspoken understanding about her partying, the latest pictures have left Bradley fuming.

‘Olivia will never change, she’s a party girl at heart and has been working so hard this year, she needed some time to blow off steam,’ the pal revealed.

The issue now is her public flaunting of her flirty ways, with the insider adding: ‘She has a very public profile now so her wild partying in Ibiza did irritate and anger [Bradley]’.

‘He definitely had some cross words for Liv but she fully accepts and embraces who she is, flaws and all.’

The friend stressed that ‘nothing is going on between Liv and Pete, they’re friends, it’s completely ridiculous to say otherwise… Olivia and Bradley are happily married’.

Olivia herself insisted all was well in her marriage when she captioned an Instagram post filled with wild Ibiza snaps: ‘Off the rails’.

When a fan commented: ‘I’m worried about your marriage,’ she replied: ‘Don’t be. Worry about yours.’
