Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy has changed his appearance following his arrest over the weekend.
The speedy wideout was taken into custody for assaulting his ex-fiancee in Texas on Friday night but has been released without any charges being preferred as the District Attorney has cited a lack of evidence, although he isn’t shutting the door on the case and will continue to evaluate it.
Worthy is understood to have spent around 24 hours behind bars and was released after the DA’s announcement on Saturday evening.
It appears he’s off the hook for now, while his relationship with Tia Jones should be well and truly over, given that he claims to have caught her cheating – plus she just tried to ruin his career with what many now believe were false accusations.

Worthy got a fresh haircut after being released from jail and is looking very different, having gotten rid of his dreadlocks. He shared a photo showing off his new look to his Instagram Stories, captioning it, “New Beginnings.”

“Was embarrassed by that mug shot so he cut it off,” someone observed.
“He doesn’t look bad without dreads,” another wrote.
“He’ll be even faster now!” a fan replied.
Xavier Worthy may not have had a choice in the matter, given that his lawyers revealed that his ex pulled out his hair during an altercation.
In any case, he’s ready to move on from everything.
