BREAKING NEWS: Patrick Christys and Emily Carver PAUSE GB News Show to Make EMOTIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT About Their First Child

GB News presenters Patrick Christys and his wife Emily Carver have announced the gender of their first-born child live on air. On Thursday (August 21), the 33-year-old broadcaster joined his wife on stage with a bunch of flowers and a card from the cast and crew for her last day on the news channel before going on her maternity leave. But that wasn’t all the late-night host brought with him.
He also brought up on stage a white cake decorated with pink and blue icing, with the words ‘Boy or Girl’ on the top. The mum-to-be then cut into the beautifully decorated cake to reveal the gender of their beautiful baby, who is due to arrive in a matter of weeks.

The auburn presenter, 29, proudly pulled out the cake slice revealing the blue cake inside as the team cheered and celebrated in the background. News correspondent Mark White could be heard shouting in the background: “Not another young Patrick!” as the team chuckled around them.
It was at this point that Emily’s afternoon co-host Tom Harwood brought out a gift for the couple wrapped up in pink tissue paper which was revealed to be a little knitted baby bonnet with the GB News logo emblazoned on it above the phrase ‘GB Baby’.
Before signing off from her first show, Emily confessed: “Thank you guys, I am going to miss you all”. Tom gushed: “We’re going to miss you too, don’t stay away for too long and I hope you’re going to be coming back in whatever shape of form throughout the process.”
It didn’t take long before fans flooded to the comments to congratulate the happy couple on their joyous news online. One user penned: “Congratulations from America, Patrick. Best to your wife and son!!”

Another agreed: “Congratulations Emily and Patrick! Wishing good health to both mum and baby.” As a third echoed: “Congratulations Pat and your beautiful wife [heart emoji].”
It comes after the proud dad-to-be asked former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who has eight children, for some wise words about fatherhood. He chuckled: “Do exactly what your wife tells you to do. That’s my strong advice. There’s no alternative. Do it instantly and try and anticipate.
“I don’t think men ever really get quite how much of an effort motherhood really is. I mean, having been through it quite a few times. Not motherhood, obviously, but fatherhood. I think, don’t underestimate, constantly think, ‘How can I get points today?’ That’s my advice to you.”
