Joe Tate Is Not Alone As An UNEXPECTED Figure SECRETLY Takes His Side After A DRAMATIC Social Services Call
Emmerdale‘s Sam Dingle makes the surprising decision to play peacemaker between warring Joe Tate and Clemmie Reed tonight.
Sam steps in after Clemmie makes another desperate bid to avoid having to interact with her mum’s scheming new boyfriend.
Tuesday’s episode sees Clemmie pay a surprise visit to Wishing Well Cottage, interrupting Sam Dingle as he’s getting ready for Aaron and John’s wedding.
Sam is stunned as Clemmie asks if she can move in with the Dingles rather than continuing to live at Home Farm with the Tates.

Viewers have already seen Clemmie make one attempt to free herself from Joe – calling social services in the hope that he’d be sent away.
After listening to Clemmie’s angst over Joe and Dawn’s relationship, Sam hopes to make things better by bringing Joe along to speak honestly with her.
Joe is under no illusions over how hard he’ll have to work to gain Clemmie’s trust after previously threatening her, but can he make some tentative progress after Sam’s intervention? Or is the worst still to come?
Fans can see how the story plays out in full when the episode airs at 7.30pm on ITV1 tonight. It’s also streaming early now on ITVX.
