The 2025 women’s NCAA Tournament will end on Sunday when UConn and South Carolina meet in the National Championship Game.
South Carolina beat Texas and UConn beat UCLA in the Final Four on Friday, setting up a star-studded showdown on Sunday.
Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi have been doing live telecasts throughout the Final Four on “The Bird & Taurasi Show” and will do another one on Sunday for the title game. Bird and Taurasi will have some guests on, including WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark.
They’re super excited to have her on, with Taurasi calling her “amazing” on Friday night.
“She’s not a college kid anymore,” Taurasi said. “Caitlin has grown. Boy, Caitlin is amazing.”
Take a look:
Clark is one of the best players in the WNBA and won WNBA Rookie of the Year after helping the Indiana Fever make the playoffs. She finished the season averaging 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game.
Clark was selected first overall by the Fever in the 2024 WNBA Draft after her electric collegiate career at Iowa. She helped Iowa get to the 2024 National Championship Game before losing to South Carolina.
She also helped Iowa get to the title game in 2023 before losing to Angel Reese and LSU. Clark played in 139 games during her four seasons at Iowa, averaging 28.4 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists per game.
She will get to give her thoughts during Sunday’s game between the two top teams in the country and discuss how she is prepping for her second WNBA season. She’ll try to win her first WNBA MVP and lead the Fever to the WNBA Playoffs for a second consecutive season.
Tip-off for Sunday’s National Championship Game between UConn and South Carolina will be at 3 p.m. ET.
