Netizens retaliate against Kanye West

The image of Bianca Censori wearing a transparent stocking dress, fully exposing her body on the Grammy 2025 red carpet on the evening of February 2 became one of the most shocking and infuriating moments in the American entertainment industry. It overshadowed everything that happened afterwards at the world’s most prestigious music event.

While a part of netizens criticized Bianca for being shameless and vulgar, the majority pointed the finger at her husband, Kanye West. The audience believes that the mastermind of the offensive nude scene was the rapper born in 1977 and the Australian model seemed to have a pleading look in her eyes.

Three days after the incident, a reverse photo of the nude scene created by artificial intelligence (AI) appeared on social media, with the caption: “Kanye West and Bianca Censori attending the 2025 Grammy red carpet”. In the photo, instead of Bianca exposing her body and Kanye wearing full clothes as in reality, the couple switched positions. Kanye was naked and his wife was fully dressed and had accessories.

The photo quickly went viral with more than 5.5 million views and tens of thousands of likes. Netizens, including celebrities such as actress Lisa Rinna, MC/model Katie Piper and DJ Fat Tony, praised the “powerful image” in response to Kanye’s misogynistic actions.

Viewers commented: “Someone needs to free this woman. I think she’s a prisoner”, “I like this better! Let him be on display”, “This is the purest form of feminism”, “This is not a real photo, but does it have to be like that”, “We still live in a patriarchal society to some extent”, “Funny how Bianca looks hot with all her clothes on”, “Kanye West needs to be taught a lesson”, “You are precious, Bianca. Treat yourself better”, “The image is amazing when reversed”, “This is really what should happen”…

Why does Kanye West encourage women to strip?

In November 2014, Kim Kardashian caused controversy when she appeared on the cover of Paper magazine with her “super butt” naked, with the message: “Blow the internet with Kardashian”.

At that time, Kim had just married Kanye and the rapper was said to be the one who pushed his wife to make the bold moment. Since then, their coverage has been unmatched by any other star, despite countless scandals and hatred. More than 10 years later, the world was shocked by Bianca’s true nude scene on the Grammy red carpet. Kanye stood next to her, watching his second wife with a blank face.

A close friend told The New York Post that the Famous rapper wants to make a splash again, as he did with Kim.

“He wants to be famous again, and he knows the best way to do that is to have Bianca get naked. She didn’t like the idea at first, but it’s all about what he wants,” the source stressed.

“We’re against spreading it. Why would she do that? I know how famous she became, but at some point, A-list celebrities don’t pose naked anymore… Being naked for a magazine is not something a leading lady should do. No one wants her to do it, except Kanye. She wouldn’t do it without him,” the producer said.

In 2022, Kim shared on her reality show that her ex-husband was too strict with her wardrobe, often forcing her to wear outfits she didn’t want to wear. Kanye even flew into a rage when Kim wore a dress he didn’t like, declaring that her career was over.

Not only Kim and Bianca, Kanye did the same thing to his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose, whom he dated from 2008-2010. Rose once said she had to give in to Kanye’s demands on when she should cover up and when she should go all out.

“It was a culture shock for someone like me. People didn’t know that I was 24 and he was 32. I was immature. I didn’t understand why I needed a hairdresser. Kanye told me what to do and when to do it. I did it,” Rose shared on the Drink Champs podcast in 2017.

Bianca always kept quiet. However, according to British body language expert Judi James, she showed a “fearful” expression when she took off the fur coat, in contrast to her previous confidence. She and her husband clearly exchanged meaningful glances right before the nudity began.

Meanwhile, Kanye was delighted by the reaction, even boasting about his Grammy win on Instagram.

“That’s exactly what he wanted. This is the moment people remember the 2025 Grammys. They’re not going to talk about anything else. They’re going to talk about Kanye,” the friend insisted.

Representatives for Kanye, Bianca, and Kim did not comment on the controversy.
