One of, if not the top players in college basketball this year, has been TCU Horned Frogs guard Hailey Van Lith. Not only did she help lead them to a conference championship, but she also earned herself Big 12 Player of the Year.
Not only did Van Lith prove her critics wrong this year, she proved she has a solid case to be a top pick in the WNBA Draft. She currently heads into the March Madness tournament averaging 17.9 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.4 rebounds a game.
Clearly, Hailey Van Lith knows what she’s doing on the court, however, with the NIL deals in the minds of players, she clearly knows what she’s doing off the court as well. She currently has over 1.2 million followers on Instagram.
Many of those followers most likely follow her for her success on the court and rightfully so. But others follow for her stunning model-like photos on the platform. That was only proven when Van Lith broke the internet with a photo she posted in a purple swimsuit.
Her ability to balance basketball and branding has made her one of the most marketable athletes in college sports today. With NIL deals becoming a crucial aspect of college athletics, Van Lith has positioned herself as both a dominant athlete and a savvy businesswoman.
Major brands have already taken notice, with multiple endorsements lining up to work with her. From sports apparel to lifestyle products, she has built a personal brand that extends far beyond the basketball court.
Despite her growing fame, Van Lith remains focused on her ultimate goal—winning. As TCU prepares for a deep tournament run, she continues to put in the work, proving that success isn’t just about talent but also about relentless dedication.
With her combination of skill, confidence, and off-court influence, Van Lith is setting a new standard for what it means to be a modern athlete. Whether she’s dazzling on the court or captivating fans on social media, one thing is clear: her impact is only just beginning.

Fans went absolutely nuts when the 23 basketball star exchanged her purple basketball jersey for a shiny purple swimsuit. The comments on the post and the 222 thousand likes speak for themselves.
“Mamacita,” commented one user.
“One of the prettiest hoopsters I ever saw,” added another.
“So fine,” added one fan.
One fan even called Van Lith an “absolute bombshell.”
Clearly, Van Lith knows how to use her social media to the best of her abilities, showing off her off-court lifestyle. And evidently, her on-the-court play doesn’t suffer, so she will continue to go viral for her millions of fans.
The district released a statement emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship and appropriate conduct from both players and coaches. “Our student-athletes deserve a safe and positive environment where they can grow both on and off the court,” the statement read.
Meanwhile, reactions within the community remain mixed. Some parents and former players defended Zullo, citing his decades of dedication and leadership. “He’s old-school, but he’s always cared about his players,” said Mark Davidson, a former student-athlete. Others, however, insisted that his actions were unacceptable.
Monroe’s family has not issued an official statement, but sources close to them indicated they were considering further action. “This isn’t just about basketball,” one family friend remarked. “It’s about setting the right example for young athletes.”
As the investigation continues, Northville administrators plan to hold a town hall meeting to address concerns and ensure that future incidents like this are prevented.
