SH0CK RETURN Changes Everything as Dee-Dee Faces UNTHINKABLE DECISION When Baby Laila Mysteriously Appears with a FAMILIAR FACE on Coronation Street
Coronation Street‘s Dee-Dee Bailey is given the mother of all surprises next week, when James arrives back in Weatherfield with Laila. How will she react to her brother’s unexpected move?
At the Bistro, Dee-Dee finds an unlikely confidant in Daniel Osbourne as she chats about her decision to let James raise her little girl.
Afterwards, the pair head out onto the cobbles – where the solicitor spots her sibling climbing out of a cab with Laila…
“What an emotional rollercoaster. One second, Dee-Dee is telling Daniel that she knows she made the right choice by her daughter – even though her family thinks she might regret it – the next thing she knows, James and Laila are back on her doorstep,” our Corrie insider explains.

ITV
“She thought they were living in America, so what could possibly have brought them back?”
Prior to this, Dee-Dee informs Ed that she is ready to leave the past behind and put her energies into ensuring that midwives are better trained to support Black women through childbirth.
Although, Ed can’t help but feel worried when Dee-Dee reveals that she’s also taken on a custody case at work.

ITV
“Ed always wants the best for Dee-Dee,” our insider continues. “And her decision to take on a custody case worries him because he thinks that she’s moving too quickly.
“It’s so important to him that Dee-Dee heals from every traumatic event that came her way over the past year.”
With James and Laila on the Street, can Dee-Dee continue to move forward? Or will their presence stunt her progress?
Coronation Street airs James’s return on Friday 6 June on ITV1 and ITVX.
