There’s huge drama in the Dales next week on Emmerdale, with characters in turmoil, hints of danger and some big discoveries.

Ella Forster burns all her bridges, as a sinister lie to cover her back leads to a series of dramatic and quite awkward events. As her master plan backfires, the Mirror’s soap insider has revealed all about the “explosive” consequences airing across the week.

But it’s not just Ella taking centre stage in the coming days, with Steph Miligan also still struggling to come to terms with recent events. It seems she’s set to face a crisis point next week, and it could lead to a horrifying twist.

There’s also a hint that Jai Sharma may face danger, as next week he continues to investigate the vanishing act of Anthony Fox. As he edges closer to the truth, will he regret it?

Ella Forster’s actions have big consequences

Ella’s time is running out next week amid exit rumours, after committing an action she cannot take back. As she battles to stay afloat and get herself out of her latest mess, she tells an unforgivable lie followed by a cruel confession that could well seal her village fate.

Viewers have seen this week Chas Dingle collapsed, with doctors warning she may have overdosed on her painkillers. With Ella spotted sneaking into the pub before her love rival’s health scare, she’s immediately accused over the incident.

Next week, a desperate Ella tries to rally people around her but one by one, she alienates them and she soon realises no one believes her. It doesn’t stop her pushing the agenda though that Chas is to blame and is setting her up, and it seems the scenario is paving the way for some “explosive” scenes.

Our soap insider revealed: “Ella will go to any lengths necessary to get people to believe her lie, but it seems it’s a case of too little too late. The damage is done, and her attempts to make Chas look bad fall pretty flat.

“In her bid to make Chas the village enemy, it backfires and she sets herself up. She even loses one of her only allies in Manpreet. It’s safe to say there’s some rather dramatic and fiery scenes in the week ahead.”

Steph Miligan’s drastic action

There’s some heartbreaking scenes ahead as Steph Miligan considers drastic action, following her recent sickening discovery. After finding out her real father was Anthony Fox, who she believed was her grandfather, Steph has struggled to look in the mirror as all she sees staring back at her is Anthony.

Steph only recently learned about Anthony raping her mother Ruby Miligan when she was a teenager, causing her to fall pregnant with Steph. Next week, spoilers reveal a haunted Steph plans to have plastic surgery to change her appearance as all she can see in the mirror is Anthony.

“There’s some really moving scenes on the way as Steph struggles to open up to those around her,” reveals our soap insider. “Viewers will see Steph contemplating changing her whole appearance, unable to cope with what she knows.

“She’ll be seen looking at plastic surgery as an option, disgusted by what she’s found out. Ruby does everything she can to be there for her daughter and help her through, but Steph’s turmoil is long-lasting and there’s tough scenes ahead.”

Jai Sharma’s new storyline

Now, this might be quite a minor moment in comparison to the rest, but should we be reading into Jai Sharma’s meddling a bit more? Spoilers reveal he is refusing to drop his suspicions over Anthony going missing.

Convinced Caleb Miligan is hiding something, he continues to press him and Steph wanting to know what’s gone on. He then moves his attentions to his ex Laurel Thomas leaving her rattled, but how close is he to the truth?

Our insider shared: “Jai may want to watch himself. Bad things happen to those who get too close to dark secrets and k!ller truths in soap land.

“Jai is like a dog with a bone with this case, and he won’t stop until he knows something, anything. It could bring trouble to the door of the Miligans, and knowing how ruthless they can be it could certainly leave Jai in serious danger.”
