The couple sparked a viral sensation as they jumped from their embrace to cover their faces and get out of the camera shot
The CEO of tech firm Astronomer, who was caught on a kiss cam with a co-worker during a Coldplay concert, has resigned, the company has confirmed.
Andy Byron tendered his resignation to the company after being caught in an intimate embrace with a woman understood to be a co-worker, Kristin Cabot, during the concert in Boston.
Viral footage showed the moment Byron and his company’s Chief People Officer jumped out of each other’s arms as they flashed up on a “kiss cam” segment during the band’s show.
In a statement, a representative for the tech company admitted his actions fell short of standards.
“As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding,” they told Page Six.
“Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.
“Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted.
“The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.”
Just stop Labour.. Stop the destruction of our Country by people like Starmer, Rayner and Milliband. Wake up to the fact that they really dislike us. Refuse to be a nodding DOGS. Nodding while our Country, our lives and our future are destroyed by a minority of dangerous fools.

The statement continued: “Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI.
“While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not.
“We’re continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data & AI problems.”
Immediately following the awkward moment, Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, 48, joked into his microphone: “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just really shy.”

The couple’s moment was instantly ruined as she tried to hide her face after realising the images were being projected
He then expressed remorse over unintentionally calling them out: “Oh s**t, I hope we didn’t do something bad.”
Byron’s resignation comes less than 24 hours after Astronomer announced both members of staff had been put on leave and that an investigation would be conducted.
The company announced on Friday: “The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”
Despite the duo’s best efforts to remain anonymous, the awkward moment sparked a viral sensation, with the video gaining millions of views on social media and internet users tracking down the two co-workers to the New York-based tech company Astronomer.

Astronomer has so far refused to identify the woman in the clip.
Neither of the two people in the video nor their family or friends have responded to the allegations or video.
Following the incident, a personal statement from the company’s CEO was seemingly released online.
However, this statement has been proven to be fake with Astronomer, telling TMZ it is “not a real statement”.
