HEARTBROKEN: The Chase’s Anne Hegerty gives HEARTBREAKING UPDATE after SPLIT from lover

Anne Hegerty addressed having a boyfriend and whether she had plans to share her life with someone. The Chase quizmaster, otherwise known as The Governess, admitted she is happily single but there was a time she regretted not having a partner. Anne, 67, spoke candidly in a new interview as she admitted to enjoying her own company. When asked if she wanted to someone special to share her life with, the ITV favourite commented: “No, I really don’t. I used to, but I realised I was wanting to want it rather than genuinely wanting a romantic relationship.” She went on: “I don’t even want pets. I’ve got pot plants and I mind when they die, but no, I’m very happy in my own company. I’m just fine.”
During the same interview, Anne also opened up about dealing with loneliness and admitted she is fine being on her own and loves her own company. “Yes, I am,” she told New magazine. “Even at showbiz events, I need to take time out if it’s very noisy. I need to chill for a bit, alone.” She added, “I know many people like that. People keep inviting me to things and I think, ‘Are you lonely?'”

Anne added: “So many people have tons of friends and have to have them around all the time.”
The Chase star previously shared that for many years her Wikipedia page stated that she was married to a man called Jake Hester. Seemingly she doesn’t even know who he is though, and she set the record straight during her appearance on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here in 2018.
“It still claims I’m married to someone called Jake Hester! I seriously don’t know who he is,” she told her campmates.
Anne also told Express.co.uk: “My brother didn’t help because he said to me, ‘I want to meet this guy’,” she quipped. “I’m like ‘No. This is not somebody I know’.”
“I imagine he exists,” she said. “It’s too odd a name to make up. I imagine he exists and he’s out there somewhere. Either he vandalised the page or somebody he knows did,” she speculated.
