‘You can’t say that!’ Jeremy Kyle loses it as TalkTV erupts into furious migrant clash

TalkTV erupted into a furious row as presenter Jeremy Kyle lost his temper with Lib Dem MP Christine Jardine as they discussed small boat migrants coming to the UK. It comes amid the ongoing crisis in Ceuta, which has seen around 60,000 migrants arriving in the Spanish enclave from Morocco.
Speaking about the migrants coming both to Spain and to the UK across the English channel, Jardine claimed they were genuine refugees and escaping danger in their own country. She said: “The people who come here are genuine refugees, genuine asylum seekers… whether you agree with it or not, it doesn’t matter, it is a simple fact that a lot of the people who come to this country are fleeing persecution,” as Jeremy rushed to jump in.

He threw down his pen and put his hands to his head as he said: “Christine, you’re going to have to let me speak. You have to be able to talk in facts. I’m sorry you have to. I am talking in facts,” as he brought up the tragic deaths of four migrants as they attempted to cross, before he read out a statement from the Home Office about the latest influx of migrants.
He continued: “You cannot come out with comments like ‘some of them are escaping persecution’… When will we drop this ludicrous belief that these people who cross seven war-torn countries without their wives and kids come to the United Kingdom to apparently work?
“They come because we give them far more than any other country, which is why they come here!”

Fans rushed to comment on the video shared on X, as one said: “How does she know illegals are ‘genuine’ refugees? Surely they haven’t been vetted?”
