TV CHAOS: Loose Women ERUPTS in controversy after Myleene Klass’s SH0CKING COMMENT about co-star Coleen Nolan

Loose Women took an awkward turn after panellist Myleene Klass snapped at her co-star Coleen Nolan during a heated debate on the ITV talk show. Tensions boiled over as the hosts discussed Britain’s ambassador to Washington, Peter Mandelson, who confessed to carrying on his friendship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein “for far longer than he should have.” As they opened up about the topic, Coleen instantly shared her displeasure and said she was “bored” with constant stories about scandals involving people in power.

The Nolan star explained: “I think it’s really depressing, I have lost faith in all of them. I can’t believe a word any of them say.” Which prompted Myleen to abruptly interject: “That’s terrible though.” Taken aback by her opinion, a shocked Coleen simply said: “Oh, oh alright.” After rolling her eyes, the 60-year-old added: “It was just my opinion.” Clarifying her sentiments, Myleene said: “No, no, your opinion is correct, but the feeling you described is really worrying.” To which Coleen then sarcastically quipped: “Thanks.”

Their debate came after a US congressional committee released files revealing Mandelson’s friendship with Epstein.

The ambassador was among those who featured in a 50th birthday book for Epstein, created in 2003, just three years before allegations of sexual abuse of minors by Epstein became public.

The book was compiled by the late financier’s ex-girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently in prison for her role in recruiting and trafficking minors for sex.

Alongside an image of Mandelson wearing just a robe, seated across the disgraced financier, he penned the message: “Wherever he is in the world, he remains my best pal.”

Many have called for the ambassador’s resignation, which hints at yet another politician shake-up under the Labour government. However, the Prime Minister has defended Mandelson and praised him as a “key part” in strengthening UK-US relations under President Donald Trump.

While many anticipate a shake-up within the government, ITV confirmed major cuts to many of its shows, including Loose Women, which will no longer run for 52 weeks of the year and instead be on screen for just 30, in a dramatic bid to cut costs.

Other shows have also been affected by the change, including Good Morning Britain, which will now run for an extra half an hour, while Lorraine will be reduced from one hour to 30 minutes.

Like Loose Women, Lorraine will now air for just 30 weeks a year. and when it is not on, it will be replaced by an even longer edition of Good Morning Britain, which will run from 6 am to 10 am.

Coleen, who has been on the show since 2000, is said to be “devastated” by the major overhaul and “fighting for her job.”

According to a source: “Coleen is particularly upset about the whole thing and feels shocked and blindsided. She’s lost her sister recently, and it’s been a very tough year – so this is even more devastating news.

“She’s worried about her work going forward as someone who has always really relied on Loose Women, it’s her main income so it’s a big blow.”
