Football fans were saying the same thing about Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, after a new report detailed a potentially significant development in their relationship.

After breaking up with longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday, the new North Carolina Tar Heels football head coach began dating the 24-year-old Hudson. Their relationship began at some point in 2023, and the two have been making more public appearances together — including last week’s NFL Honors ceremony.

On Thursday, Sarah Jones of Page Six reported that Belichick (73 in April) and Hudson “have definitely discussed marriage” with a source telling the outlet that the couple “would definitely get a prenup.”

Following the report from Page Six, fans on X/Twitter lined up to advise the eight-time Super Bowl champion to get a prenup:

“Belichick better get 100% asset protection prenup,” wrote one fan.


“Mr. Belichick and Ms.Hudson should each employ very good attorneys to check the prenup !! Not taking sides….just sayin’,” another quipped.

Bill Belichick’s only marriage was to Debby Clarke. They had sons, Brian and Stephen (both were on Belichick’s staff in New England) and a daughter, Amanda. The two divorced in 2006, and Belichick began his relationship with Holliday soon after.

Belichick and Holliday were together from 2007 to 2023 before unexpectedly breaking up. The future Hall of Famer and Hudson met on a plane ride in 2021 and maintained contact before beginning a relationship two years later.

Belichick was an NFL coach every year from 1975 to 2023, beginning with the Baltimore Colts. He won two Super Bowl rings as the New York Giants’ defensive coordinator under head coach Bill Parcells before eventually becoming the architect of the New England Patriots’ 21st-century dynasty.

He was surprisingly passed over in the 2024 NFL HC hiring cycle and took a year away from coaching before signing a multi-year deal with UNC, marking his first college coaching gig.
